Anushka Shetty trimming down once again to play Prabhas’s pair in Saaho

Thanks to the whopping success of Baahubali, Anushka Shetty has become a very popular face all across the nation. The actress, known for her impeccable acting prowess and dedication is now reducing her weight to play Prabhas’s pair in the upcoming big budget movie Saaho.

Anushka was in Kerala recently for an Ayurvedic treatment as part of weight reduction. She had earlier put on a lot of weight for her bilingual movie Size Zero. It was the story of an obese woman and Anushka being a thorough professional did not want to use prosthetics. She put on around 20 kilos to play the role. Right now she is sweating it hard to shed down the extra kilos to be fit by the time her next movie starts rolling.

Saaho, directed by Sujeeth is touted to be a big budget sci-fi thriller. The movie’s teaser was released recently and fetched millions of views. It has successfully piqued the curiosity of the audience.

There are reports that Anushka was opted over Katrina Kaif to play Prabhas’s pair. The makers want to cash in on the popularity of the much loved Baahubali couple.
After the success of Baahubali, the duo is now one of the most favourite on-screen pairs of the audience. Their photos from shooting spots and various other events are viral on the internet.

Prabhas is sporting a new look for Saaho. He has taken off his beard and has gone clean shaven. He is also shedding the extra pounds that he gained for Baahubali. Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has been roped in to play the villain in Saaho.

The movie is produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati. To cash in on the huge popularity of Prabhas, the makers are releasing the movie in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages.

Famed trio of Shankar Ehsaan Loy will handle the music department while renowned cinematographer R Madhie will be cranking the camera. International stuntman Kenny Bates, popular for his work in Hollywood films like Die Hard and Transformers will be choreographing the stunts in Saaho.

The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages simultaneously in 2018.
