AR Rahman to score music for Mohanlal movie Randamoozham
Social media is abuzz with posts about the Randamoozham ever since Mohanlal announced about the long awaited project during the Manorama news maker of the year function.
Written by MT Vasudevan Nair, this epic drama based on the Mahabaratha will be directed by popular ad filmmaker Shrikumar Menon. Academy Award winning composer AR Rahman will be scoring the music for this movie. The music maestro has till now worked only in one Malayalam movie-Yodha back in 1992.

Popular cinematographer KU Mohanan will handle the camera in this movie while Peter Hein, who recently worked in Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan, is being considered for choreographing the action sequences. The movie will also involve some of the best technicians from around the world to work in the VFX and CG department.
Sources inform that Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Tamil superstar Vikram, Telugu superstar Nagarjuna, Kannada superstar Shivraj Kumar, Prabhu and Manju Warrier will also play prominent roles in this movie. Mohanlal is playing the lead role of Bheemasenan while Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly essaying the role of Bheeshmar.
Randamoozham will be made in two parts just like Baahubali. According to reports, a popular production company from Mollywood will collaborate with biggies Warner Bros and Reliance Entertainment for funding this movie. The movie is scheduled to go on floors by next year after Mohanlal finishes all his other commitments.
