Asif Ali as Circle Inspector Sajan Philip in Kuttavum Shikshayum

Asif Ali starrer ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ is an eagerly awaited film. Directed by Rajeev Ravi, it is an investigation thriller based on real incidents. Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne, Sharafudheen, Alencier Ley Lopez and Senthil Krishna play major roles in the film. Interestingly, all of them play cops in the film. Asif essays the role of a Circle Inspector named Sajan Philip and he has shared a location still featuring him in a police uniform.

Sibi Thomas, a real policeman, who had acted in ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’, has scripted ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ along with Sreejith Divakaran. The film is based on a jewellery robbery that occured in Kasargod in 2015. The case took a 5-member team from the Kerala police force to a dreaded village in Uttar Pradesh where they risked their lives to nab the culprits.

Sibi Thomas was the investigation officer in that case. Asif Ali is reprising his role in the film.
