Asif Ali Joins Mohanlal-Amal Neerad Film; Shoot Set to Begin by October 2025

The highly anticipated Mohanlal-Amal Neerad collaboration is gaining momentum, with fresh updates adding to the excitement. As per the latest reports, the film is now confirmed to feature actor Asif Ali in a key role, stepping in for Fahadh Faasil, who was initially considered for the part. This big-budget venture, co-written by Amal Neerad and Vincent Vadakkan, marks a grand reunion between Mohanlal and Amal Neerad after their cult 2009 film Sagar Alias Jacky. Backed by Aashirvad Cinemas and Amal Neerad Productions, the film is shaping up to be one of Malayalam cinema’s most ambitious projects in recent years.

Joining the cast alongside Mohanlal and Asif Ali are Soubin Shahir and Sreenath Bhasi, both of whom are expected to play pivotal roles.
