Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne, Sharafudheen, Alenicer and Senthil Krishna play cops in Rajeev Ravi’s Kuttavum Shikshayum

We had earlier reported about Rajeev Ravi directing a cop-thriller based on a real jewellery robbery that occurred in Kasargod. The investigation took a team of five cops from Kerala to Uttar Pradesh where they risked their lives to catch the criminals. The film titled as ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ has Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne, Sharafudheen, Alenicer Ley Lopez and Senthil Krishna as the cops on trail.

Sibi Thomas, a real life policeman, has scripted the film along with Sreejith Divakaran. The former headed the jewellery-heist investigation when he was a Circle Inspector few years back. In the film, Asif Al will be seen playing this part. The makers have fictionalized the incident but the film is being shot realistically.

Suresh Rajan of ‘Thottappan’ fame is the DOP and National award winner B Ajithkumar is handling the edits. Arun Kumar VR is producing the film under the banner of Film Roll Productions. Shoot is stalled halfway due to the lockdown.
