Asif Ali’s next titled as Maheshum Maruthiyum; Prithviraj unveils the first look poster

The first look poster of Asif Ali’s new film ‘Maheshum Maruthiyum’ has just been released by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran through his social media handle. Sethu of ‘Oru Kuttanadan Blog’ fame is directing the film. Veteran actor Maniyanpilla Raju is producing it in association with VSL Film House.

According to director Sethu, ‘Maheshum Maruthiyum’ is a triangular love story between Mahesh, a girl and his Maruti 800 car. The story revolves around Mahesh’s emotional attachment to the vehicle and how things change after a girl enters his life.

Asif Ali, who has been in good form of late, has some other promising projects in his kitty. He was shooting for Rajeev Ravi’s cop-thriller ‘Kuttavum Shikshayum’ when the lockdown was announced. ‘Kunjeldho’ directed by RJ Mathukutty is most likely to be his next release. He also has ‘Ellam Sheriyaakum’ with Jibu Jacob, ‘Thattum Vellattam’ with Mridul Nair and and an untitled film with M Padmakumar coming up.
