Asif Ali’s ‘Sarkeet’ Locks May 8 Worldwide Release; An Emotional Tale of Friendship

Asif Ali’s much-awaited film Sarkeet, directed by Thamar KV, is now set for a grand worldwide release on May 8, 2025. Produced by Ajith Vinayaka Films, the emotional drama explores deep bonds of friendship and is expected to strike a chord with audiences. Initially planned for an April release, the film has now been officially scheduled for May, with the production house also handling its theatrical distribution.

Shot extensively across Gulf locations like UAE, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah, Sarkeet was wrapped up in a brisk 40-day schedule. The film stars Asif Ali in the lead, alongside Divya Prabha, Deepak Parambol, and a stellar supporting cast, including child artist Orhan. Thamar KV, who made waves with Aayirathonnu Nunakal, brings his unique storytelling style once again, promising a heartfelt cinematic experience.

With stunning visuals captured by cinematographer Ayas Hasan and a soulful soundtrack composed by Govind Vasantha, Sarkeet boasts a strong technical team. Edited by Sangeeth Prathap and designed by Ranjith Karunakaran, the film also features lyrics by Anwar Ali and art direction by Aravind Viswanathan.
