Atharvaa to star in Anjaam Pathiraa Tamil remake

Last year’s blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’ is being remade in various languages. The film was dubbed in Telugu as ‘Midnight Murders’ and released on the OTT platform Aha. Earlier this year, it also got remade in Bengali as ‘Psycho’. Now we hear that the Tamil version is getting remade.

Atharvaa Murali has been signed to play the lead role in the Tamil remake. The promising young actor is noted for his performances in films like ‘Paradesi’, ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ and ‘Kanithan’. In ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’ remake, he will be seen essaying the lead role of a criminologist, who assists the police force to crack a series of murders. Kunchacko Boban had done the lead role in the original version. Details regarding the director and production house will be out soon.

‘Anjaam Pathiraa’ directed by Midhun Maneul Thomas was a hugely successful film. Since it is a thriller with a gripping screenplay, it should appeal well to film lovers irrespective of the language. The makers of the remake versions will be hoping to repeat the same success.
