Attack on Bhavana; Kalidas Jayaram asks why these criminals aren’t hanged

More celebrities are coming forward to express their shock and fury about the attack on actress Bhavana. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Aashiq Abu, Rima Kallingal and many others have lent their support to Bhavana in her tough period.

Kalidas Jayaram has made his statement through a post in his official Facebook page.

“Extremely shocked on hearing the news about a dear friend of mine … these people can’t be called men coz these are guys who don’t know how to get a women the right way …and I still wonder why they aren’t hanged.”

The incident happened late on Saturday, when Bhavana was returning back from shoot in Thrissur. A gang barged into her car and assaulted her while also forcibly taking some obscene photographs. Industry colleagues have expressed their solidarity and support to Bhavana who put a brave face by filing a case against the miscreants without fearing the media and her image.
