B Unnikrishnan-Udhayakrishna combo reunite after Aarattu

Director B Unnikrishnan has confirmed that he will be teaming up with scriptwriter Udhayakrishna once again after ‘Aarattu’. Editor Shameer Muhammed, a regular in Unnikrishnan’s recent films, is also part of the team. The director has shared a photo taken with Shameer and Udhayakrishna in his social media handle. Along with that, he has written that they are on a new journey, a new beginning together.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the combo is planning to make a Mammootty starrer. Similar to Udhayakrishna’s last few films, this is also expected to be a high-octane mass entertainer. If things turn out as per plans, shoot is likely to begin by the end of this year itself. A confirmation regarding the same is still awaited.

‘Aarattu’, meanwhile, is in the post-production stage. The Mohanlal starrer is scheduled to hit screens on October 14 during the Pooja holidays.
