B Unnikrishnan and Udhayakrishna to team up for the first time?

Though the Malayalam film industry is still under lockdown, active discussions regarding new projects are still underway. Recently, editor Shameer Muhammed shared a photo of one such discussion session which included director B Unnikrishnan, production designer Aroma Mohan, script writer Udhayakrishna, cinematographer Jomon T John and art director Mohandas.

Shameer shared the photo in his official Instagram handle and captioned it as, “Pre-production meeting in the time of Corona with physical distancing.”

Speculations are running rife in social medias that a big project is in the planning. If it is indeed so, this will mark the first time union of B Unnikrishnan and Udhayakrishna. Loose talks in cyber space suggest that the two are teaming up for a superstar film, a formal announcement regarding which will be made soon.

Director B Unnikrishnan last made ‘Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakeel’ with Dileep while Udhayakrishna’s last release was the blockbuster Mammootty starrer ‘Madhura Raja’.
