Babu Antony to star alongside Akshay Kumar

Malayali actor Babu Antony will be seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in an upcoming film. Antony himself revealed this exciting bit of information through his official social media handle. However, he refused to divulge details about the movie in which he will be starring alongside Akshay. His Facebook post reads,

Back in Bollywood!! .. Glad to let you all know that I shall be playing a vital role in an Akshayakumar starer soon. Will let you know the details soon. Thank you

Babu Antony is well known for his skills in martial arts. This will be his sixth time appearance in Bollywood. He made his Hindi debut in 1988 with ‘Hathya’. ‘Ek Diwana Tha’, the remake of Gautham Menon’s blockbuster film ‘Vinnai Thandi Varuvaaya’, was his last release in Hindi.

Babu Antony is also making his Hollywood debut with a movie titled ‘Bullets, Blades and Blood’. The movie directed by Warren Foster is an action-packed thriller. Its cast includes a bunch of actors who are trained in boxing, karate and other martial arts.

Babu Antony was last seen in Malayalam in ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’, which had him in a crucial role as a kalaripayattu guru. Last year, he had also committed for an action film with director Omar Lulu, which is yet to take off.
