Vijay’s Bairavaa audio and trailer release gets a date

Bairavaa is Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie. Teaser for the movie was released last week and received mixed response.

Azhagiya Tamizh Magan fame Bharathan is directing this movie. It is said to be a rural mass entertainer similar to Vijay’s earlier movies like Thiruppachi and Sivakasi.

The team of Bairavaa recently returned back from Switzerland after shooting a duet song featuring the lead pair.

Now according to some sources, songs and trailer for the movie will be released on Christmas day, December 25th. An official word confirming the date is still awaited.

Young sensation Santosh Narayanan is handling the music department for the movie. This is the first time he is composing music for Vijay. So naturally expectations are very high from the duo. Director Bharathan has also confirmed that Vijay will be crooning a song in the movie.

Current heartthrob Keerthy Suresh, who is on a high with the success of Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo is pairing opposite Vijay for the first time. Audience are eagerly looking for to see the lead pair’s onscreen chemistry.

Telugu actor Jagapthi Babu is playing the antagonist in Bairavaa. There are also many other supporting actors like Daniel Balaji, Satish, Thambi Ramiah, Sija Rose, Harish Uttaman, Roshan Basheer, Vijayaraghavan, Aparna Vinod etc.

Audience will hoping to see a better trailer after the mixed response the teaser received. Bairavaa teaser was just another ordinary one that failed to create a lasting impact on the viewers mind.

Even then, the teaser of Bairavaa is inching towards 6 million views on YouTube from 5 days from its release. This gives a picture about the kind of fan base and popularity Vijay enjoys among the masses.

Sources indicate that only some patchworks are remaining for the movie and shoot is expected to over by November 10th. After which post production works will begin.

The movie is produced by the prestigious Sri Vijaya Productions banner. Bairavaa is scheduled for a Pongal release.
