Barroz second schedule begins; Check out these location stills

The second schedule of superstar Mohanlal’s directorial debut ‘Barroz’ has begun today. Some location stills are currently doing the rounds in social medias. The film’s costume designer Jyoti Madnani Singh has also shared a photo from the sets.

‘Barroz’ is a 3D fantasy film set against the backdrop of the maritime history of Portugal, Spain, India and Africa. The film is scripted by ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ director Jijo Punnoose. Mohanlal plays the titular role and a 13-year-old child artiste named Shayla McCaffrey essays the other lead. Rafael Amargo, Sara Vega, Cesar Lorente Raton, Don, Joshua and many other foreign actors are part of the cast. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Prathap Pothen are the only Malayali actors known to be part of the film so far.

The film’s technical crew includes National award winning cinematographer Santosh Sivan, editor Sreekar Prasad and production designer Santhosh Raman. Child prodigy Lydian Nadhaswaram handling the music department. Antony Perumbavoor’s Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the film.
