Basil Joseph’s next with Mammootty and Tovino to start rolling by the end of this year!
Basil Joseph is one of the most promising directors of this generation in Mollywood. His last movie Godha was a big success at the box office with critics also lauding his growth as a director from his debut work Kunjiramayanam, a comic caper. Post his marriage, Basil has taken a short break from his directorial assignments.
Basil was last seen in a cameo role in Aashiq Abu’s Maayanadhi. He is also playing a brief role in the upcoming Biju Menon starrer Rosapoo. As per reports, Basil will start works for his next directorial venture by the end of this year.
As reported by us earlier, Megastar Mammootty and Tovino Thomas have been signed as the leads Basil’s new movie. Unni R, well known for his scripts like Munnariyippu and Charlie, is penning this yet-to-be-titled movie. The genre or details regarding the other cast and crew have not yet been revealed.
This is a highly exciting project as Mammootty and Tovino will be sharing screen space for the first time. Unni R is a renowned writer and hence the audience can be assured of a quality film from Basil and team. One of Mollywood’s most trusted banners, E4 Entertainment will be producing this movie in association with AV Anoop’s AVA Productions.
