Bhagmati; Anushka Shetty’s next big budget movie after Baahubali is gearing up for release

Anushka Shetty is now an audience favourite across the country thanks to the massive success of Baahubali 2. Her next release is eagerly awaited by all. After the success of Baahubali, she has now shifted her focus on her upcoming movie Bhagmati.

Bhagmati is a comic horror thriller, being directed by G Ashok. Pramod and
V Vamsi Krishna Reddy are producing this big budget movie under the banner UV Creations. Shoot for the movie has already been completed but the makers are yet to announce the release date.

Since Anushka has now become a very popular figure, the makers of Bhagmati are dubbing the movie in Hindi and Tamil. Unlike Arundhati, this is not revenge horror thriller. Bhagmati comes under the genre of horror comedy. The film is also shot on a big scale involving lot of VFX works.

Bhagmati stars Aadhi Pinisetty as the male lead. Malayali actors Jayaram, Unni Mukundan and Asha Sarath are also part of the cast. The movie is expected to hit screens in August this year.
