Bhavana opens up about the rumours regarding her abortion

Popular actress Bhavana is back to her old self after going through a horrifying period. The actress put up a brave face and was willing to face the media and trial to make sure the miscreants don’t get away after committing such a gruesome mistake.

However, this is not the first time that the actress had to go through such a period. From the beginning of her career itself, she was a favourite in the gossip columns who linked her up in several rumours.

Bhavana in a recent interview to Vanitha, a popular woman’s magazine, opened up about her bitter experiences in the past. She entered the film industry at a tender age of 15 but that didn’t stop rumour mills from spreading gossips about her. The most repeated one among the lot was about her abortion.

In the interview she is quoted saying, “Every year there were atleast ten reports about my abortion and that I went to America, Aluva, Thrissur and all these places for abortion. Apart from that there will be reports about me having a relationship with some director. They didn’t even have a consideration that I was only 16 years old. Would they do the same against if it was someone from their own family.”

Bhavana admits that she has gone through a lot and her outspoken nature has resulted in many lost opportunities. But she is not willing to go down defeated.

The actress recently got engaged to her long time beau and Kannada producer Naveen. She recently wrapped up her portions for the first schedule of her upcoming Malayalam movie Adam Joan, starring Prithviraj in the title role. She is currently busy shooting for Tagaru, a Kannada movie starring Shivaraj Kumar in the lead.

Bhavana will also be essaying the female lead in the Telugu remake of superhit Malayalam movie Charlie, where she will be reprising Parvathy Menon’s from the original.
