Bigg Boss fame David John also part of Mohanlal’s Ram

Jeethu Joseph directorial ‘Ram’ is an eagerly awaited film that will be hitting screens in the latter half of this year. Mohanlal and Trisha play the lead roles in the film, which is said to be an action-thriller made on a big scale. Bollywood actor Adil Hussain, Indrajith Sukumaran, Durga Krishna of ‘Vimaanam’ fame and Leona Lishoy are part of the star-studded cast.

David John, best known for his stint in the first season of Malayalam reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, is also part of ‘Ram’. He will be seen essaying a negative shared character in the film. Interestingly, it was Mohanlal who recommended David for the role in ‘Ram’.

Ramesh R Pillai and Sudhan S Pillai are jointly producing the film under the banner of Abhishek Films. The team is currently on a break due to the Corona virus outbreak. The makers had originally planned to release it during the Pooja season in October but it is yet to be confirmed.
