Bigg Boss winner Sabumon bag roles in Vijay Babu’s and Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming films

The inaugural edition of Bigg Boss Malayalam concluded last day with a grand finale. Sabumon Abdusamad, unarguably the most popular contestant in the show, won the title. The finale was a grand affair with comedy skits, dance programs. The show’s superstar host Mohanlal also joined the party by singing a few lovely songs. A big surprise element was the arrival of ace filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery and producer Vijay Babu.

They were in the show to announce that Sabumon has been cast in prominent roles in two of their upcoming films. While details about Vijay Babu’s film was not revealed, Sabu has been offered a major role in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming film, Jallikattu. The movie supposedly has Antony Varghese and Vinayakan in the lead roles.

Lijo has previously worked with Sabu in his gangster comedy film, Double Barrel. The latter has also played notable roles in films like Fireman, Adi Kapayre Koottmani and Darwinte Parinamam. With the massive popularity that he enjoys after the Bigg Boss show, Sabumon is expected to be flooded with movie offers.
