Biju Menon-Manju Warrier starrer Lalitham Sundaram starts rolling

As reported earlier, actor-producer Madhu Warrier is turning a filmmaker with ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ that stars his sister Manju Warrier and Biju Menon in the lead roles. Shoot commenced last day with an official switch on ceremony. Manju Warrier has shared photos from the first day of shoot in her official social media handle. It is also her on maiden commercial film production. She is funding the film along with Central Pictures.

Pramod Mohan, who had directed the Biju Menon starrer ‘Orayiram Kinakkal’, is penning this film. According to Madhu Warrier, ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ is a feel-good, family entertainer. Manju Warrier plays an entrepreneur’s role in the film while Biju Menon’s character owns an event management company. The two stars are acting together after two long decades, so it will be interesting to see their on-screen chemistry after all these years.

The film’s supporting cast includes Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup, ‘Neena’ fame Deepti Sati and Zarina Wahab among others. Cinematographer P Sukumar, music director Bijibal and editor Lijo Paul form the core technical crew.
