Bobby Deol to Play the Villain Opposite Suriya in the Highly Anticipated Magnum Opus “Kanguva”

Suriya, the shining star of Tamil cinema, is capturing the attention of audiences worldwide with glimpses of his upcoming magnum opus “Kanguva.” Directed by Siva, this epic period action drama is set to be a cinematic marvel, comprising three parts, with the first installment scheduled for a 2024 summer release. Adding to the excitement, Bollywood sensation Disha Pattani will be playing the female lead in this film, which is jointly produced by Studio Green and UV Creations.

The latest reports reveal that renowned Bollywood actor Bobby Deol will take on the role of the formidable antagonist, pitting his talent against Suriya’s brilliance, making “Kanguva” his second venture into the world of South Indian cinema. The shooting of “Kanguva” is in full swing, and the film’s next schedule is set to take place in the picturesque city of Bangkok. Bobby Deol will join the Bangkok schedule of this film next month.

Producer Dhananjayan, in a recent interview, expressed immense confidence in the film’s success. He shared that the team is planning to announce the second and third installments of “Kanguva” after assessing the response to the first part. The production house aims for “Kanguva” to achieve a remarkable theatrical business, crossing the prestigious 1000 crore mark. Furthermore, the Hindi distributors are optimistic that the film’s Hindi version alone will gross over 400 crores, showcasing the massive pan-Indian appeal of this magnum opus. Kanguva will be released in 10 languages and in 3D format too.
