Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma impressed by Kumbalangi Nights!

‘Kumbalangi Nights’ is unarguably one of the most talked about Malayalam movies in recent times. Even after a year its release, the film continues to find admirers. After its release on web streaming platform, Amazon Prime, there has been a wider reach with a large number of non-Malayali cinephiles lapping it up.

Bollywood actress Ansuhka Sharma recently got to watch the movie and seems like she was highly impressed by it. In her Instagram story, the actress has tagged the film’s director Madhu C Narayanan and wrote,

What a lovely film. Such beautiful direction and brilliant cast.

‘Kumbalangi Nights’ is a finely crafted family-drama revolving around two contrasting families. Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Shane Nigam, Fahadh Faasil, Anna Ben, Grace Antony and Mathew Thomas play the major roles. Scripted by Syam Pushkaran, it is a brilliant film that broke multiple stereotypes about what constitutes an ideal family. There has been talks about it getting remade in other languages but nothing has been officially announced yet.
