It will be between the film Jo and the Boy directed by Rojin Thomas and Adi Kappyare Koottamani directed by newcomer John Varghese. Jo and the Boy has Manju Warrier and Sanoop Santhosh in lead roles and Adi Kapyare Koottamani had a popular star cast including Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Namitha Pramod, Neeraj Madhav, Mukesh etc.

But the battle is between two teams which is very interesting for you to know. The first film of Rojin Thomas, the director of Jo and the Boy is Philips and Monkey pen which is a super success at box office. It had master Sanoop Santhosh in the lead and it was his first film as well. Jayasurya also played a key role in that film and it was financed by Friday Film House owned by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas. It was them who introduced Rojin Thomas and Shanil Muhammad who written and directed the film Philips and the Monkey Pen. Rojin Thomas alone directed the latest film Jo and The Boy.

But Jo and the Boy is going to fight Adi Kappyare Koottamani and the financers of this film the same Friday Film House owned by Sandra Thomas and Vijay Babu who earlier introduced Rojin Thomas. So its like box office war between Philips and Monkey Pen creative team and production team this time. Rojin Thomas, Master Sanoop Santhosh and many others who worked in Philips and the Monkey Pen is also a part of Jo and the Boy. Friday Film House is financed Adi Kapyare Koottamani associated with Carnival Motion Pictures. So it will be very interesting to see the box office war between these two teams.
