Chathur Mukham selected for screening at the 25th Buncheon International Fantastic Film Festival, South Korea

‘Chathur Mukham’ starring Manju Warrier and Sunny Wayne has been selected for screening at the 25th Buncheon International Fantastic Film Festival, South Korea. It has been selected under the category ‘World Fantastic RED’. Films belonging to horror, fantasy and mystery genre are selected in this category. It is among the 258 films selected from 47 countries.

‘Chathur Mukham’ is directed jointly by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil V. It is a techno-horror thriller, the first of its kind in Malayalam. Scripted by Anil Kumar and Abhaya Kumar, the film tries to achieve the concept of solving something that’s beyond science using science. Upon its theatrical release on April 8, the film opened to largely positive response. Despite the good run, the makers were forced to withdraw it from theatres due to the second wave of pandemic.

‘Chathur Mukham’ is set to have its television premiere soon. Zee Keralam has bagged the satellite rights while their own OTT platform Zee 5 hold the digital streaming rights.
