Shoot for Mohanlal’s new film ‘Aarattu’ directed by B Unnikrishnan is currently progressing at a brisk pace. A new location pic of Mohanlal from the sets has surfaced online. Clad in a red shirt and a white mundu, the superstar looks handsome as ever. Also seen in the photo are director B Unnikrishnan and fellow actors, Nandu and Kochu Preman.

Scripted by Udhayakrishna, ‘Aarattu’ is touted to be a mass-masala entertainer set in a rural backdrop. As per the makers, the film will have action, comedy and all essential commercial ingredients in it. Popular South Indian actress Shraddha Srinath plays the female lead. She will be seen playing an IAS officer’s role in the film.

The cast also includes Siddique, Sai Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, Indrans Vijayaraghavan, Swasika, Rachana Narayanankutty and Sheela. Vijay Ulaganath is the DOP and edits are being handled by Shameer Muhammed. Rahul Raj is the music director.
