Check out this new poster of Anoop Menon’s directorial debut King Fish

As we had reported earlier, actor-writer Anoop Menon turning a director with a movie titled ‘King Fish’. The movie has Anoop and director Ranjith playing the lead roles. A new poster featuring the two was shared online just a while back. Anoop Menon has also scripted the movie. It was originally supposed to be directed by VK Prakash but he had to opt out due to date issues.

‘King Fish’ is a rom-com that revolves around Bhaskara Varma, who is a member of a royal family. People fondly call him ‘neymeen Bhasi’ and the film gets its title from the English name of the fish, kingfish. Anoop Menon plays Bhaskara Varma’s role while director Ranjith essays the role of his maternal uncle Neelakanda Varma. Durga Krishna of ‘Vimaanam’ and ‘Pretham 2’ fame plays the female lead. Niranjana Anoop and director Lal Jose are also part of the cast.

In the technical front, still photographer Mahadevan Thampi is making his debut as a full fledged cinematographer. Ratheesh Vega is handling the music department in the movie. Amjith S Koya is producing the movie under the banner of Texas Film Factory.
