Check out this new stills of Mohanlal and Suriya from Kaappaan!

‘Kaappaan’ is getting ready ready to hit screens next month. This much-awaited film directed by KV Anand has a stellar star cast lead by two of South cinema’s biggest stars – Mohanlal and Suriya. As the movie gets ready for release, the makers have released a few new stills featuring the two actors. As reported by us earlier, the movie has Mohanlal playing the role of Indian Prime Minister. His character named as Chandrakanth Varma is said to be a grey-shaded role. Suriya plays the role of a high-rank National Security Guard (NSG) officer, who is in charge of the PM’s security.

‘Kaappaan’ is touted to be an action-packed thriller that has been shot across several countries. The movie’s cast also includes Arya, Sayyeshaa, Boman Irani, Shamna Kasim and Samuthirakani in major roles. Arya plays the role of Mohanlal’s son in the film. Sayyeshaa is paired with Suriya and Shamna plays Samuthirakani’s wife.

Lyca Productions is producing ‘Kaappaan’. Besides Tamil, the movie is also releasing in Telugu as ‘Bandobast’. Both the versions are expected to hit screens simultaneously on September 20.
