Check out the second look posters of Dhanush starrer Asuran

Dhanush’s new film ‘Asuran’ directed by Vetrimaaran is getting ready for release in October. Last day, the second look posters of the movie was released. Contrary to the bearded get up in the first look, the new posters feature Dhanush in a younger look. It is said that the actor plays a dual role in the film as father and son. The movie based on Poomani’s novel ‘Vekkai’ novel is said to be a rural drama set between 60s and 80s. Popular Malayali actress Manju Warrier makes her Tamil debut with this movie. Pasupathi is also essaying a prominent role.

The actor-director duo of Dhanush and Vetrimaaran enjoy a big fan following. Their previous films like ‘Polladhavan’, ‘Aadukalam’ and ‘Vada Chennai’ were highly acclaimed and hence expectations are naturally high on the upcoming one. GV Prakash is composing the music and R Velraj is cranking the camera. It is being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu of V Creations.

The makers have announced that ‘Asuran’ will be hitting screens on October 4.
