Check out the stunning first look poster of Mamangam

The first look poster of Mammootty’s much hyped period flick ‘Mamangam’ has just been released online. This stunning poster designed by Old Monks features Mammootty at the centre amidst what looks like a fierce battle sequence. This spectacular poster is certain to enhance the expectations surrounding the movie.

‘Mamangam’ is getting ready as one of the biggest films ever made in Malayalam. The movie is being directed by Padmakumar and Venu Kunnappilly is backing it under the banner of Kavya Films. The original director of ‘Mamangam’, Sajeev Pillai, scripted it after doing an extensive research for over twelve years. Shankar Ramakrishnan later adapted the screenplay.

Mammootty plays the lead role of a fiery ‘Chaaver’ (warrior) in the movie. It revolves around the life of these warriors who plot to defeat the Zamorin rulers. The movie has a big supporting cast comprising of several non-Malayali actors. Young star Unni Mukundan is essaying a prominent role as Chandroth Panicker. Kaniha and Anu Sithara play the two female leads. Tarun Raj Arora, Prachi Tehlan, Sudev Nair, Manikuttan, Siddique, Abu Salim, Sudheer Sukumaran and many others are also part of the cast.

The technical crew comprises of State award winning cinematographer Manoj Pillai, veteran music director M Jayachandran and art director Mohandas. Bollywood based composer Sanchit Balhara handles the background score. Sham Kaushal, a very popular action choreographer in B-Town, is in charge of the stunts.
