The Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’ has started rolling today. Last day, the makers released a series of new posters featuring Kamal Haasan in his famous Senapathi look. The movie comes with the tagline ‘Older, wiser, deadlier’. The movie is the sequel to the 1996 classic hit ‘Indian’ has Kamal Haasan reprising his role of Senapathi, a freedom fighter-turned-vigilante.

Kajal Agarwal has been signed as the female lead. The actress has a substantial role in the movie and she has already started training in Kalaripayattu as her character demands such traits. Veteran Malayali actor Nedumudi Venu will also be reprising his investigating officer’s role from the first part.

‘Indian 2’ is scripted by Shankar and dialogues in the movie are penned by Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairmuthu and Lakshmi Saravanakumar. Others in the technical crew include music director Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Ravi Varman, editor Sreekar Prasad and production designer Muthuraj. Lyca Productions is producing this big budget movie.
