Director Anwar Rasheed had said to be all set to direct his next film after his last directorial Aamy, Which is a part of  ‘5 Sundaikal.  Meanwhile Anwar Rasheed had set the box office on fire last year by producing the biggest hit of the year -Bangalore Days, which had star like Nivin Pauly, Fahad Fazil and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles and helmed by the powerful writer/director Anjali menon. The film had collected above 30 crore mark and one of the big hits ever made in mollywood.

And the film maker has recently revealed to the media that his banner will soon produce a movie with none other than the complete actor Universal star Mohanlal in the lead and that is a big news for the fans and film lovers. But Anwar Rasheed has not yet revealed who will be directing the movie. But according to the reports coming in Anwar himself will direct this movie starring Mohanlal. If it has happened it will be a great treat for the audience.

It will be a reunion of Mohanlal and Anwar after the blockbuster film Chotta Mumbai which they did together way back in 2007. The character Mohanlal played in that film, Thala or Vasaco Da Gama is still popular among the fans and the film also has great following after 7 years of its release.

Anwar Rasheed’s last full -fledged film was Usthad Hotel which was produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of magic frames and scripted by Anjali Menon starring Thilakn, Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menon. The film was a great success at box office and got critical appreciation as well. Mohanlal on the other hand had plenty of films in his hands and the actor is planning to do only 3 films per year as there are too many offers and scripts coming his way and he don’t have the time to do it all.
