Clash of Big Ms: It’s Abrahaminte Santhathikal vs Neerali this Eid

The Eid season is approaching and we have some exciting releases coming up in Malayalam. Two of the most anticipated among them is Neerali and Abrahaminte Santhathikal. The Big M fans have pinned high expectations on both the movies. As per latest reports, this coming Eid, Kerala box office will be witnessing a mouthwatering clash between these two movies. While Neerali is slated to hit screens on June 14, Abrahaminte Santhathikal will be releasing two days later on June 16.

Mohanlal’s Neerali is touted to be an action-adventure thriller. Ajoy Varma is directing this movie which has Mohanlal playing the role of a gemologist. Neerali is Mohanlal’s first release after he went through a stunning physical transformation and fans are highly excited about it. The movie scripted by Saju Thomas has Nadiya Moidu, Parvatii Nair, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Nasser and Dileesh Pothan in other major roles. Neerali’s technical crew includes noted Bollywood cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil, stunt choreographer Sunil Rodriguez and composer Stephen Devassy. Director Ajoy Varma is handling the edits with Sajit Unnikrishnan. Santhosh T Kuruvilla’s Moonshot Entertainment is co-producing the movie with John Thomas and Mibu Jose Nettikdan.

Mammootty’s Abrahaminte Santhathikal marks his collaboration with Haneef Adeni after the blockbuster success of The Great Father (TGF). Haneef is scripting this upcoming movie which marks the directorial debut of Shaji Padoor, a veteran who has been in the industry as an associate director for over two decades. Abrahaminte Santhathikal has Mammootty playing the role of police assistant superintendent Derick Abraham. Kaniha, Siddique, Anson Paul, Kalabhavan Shajon and newbie Maria John are also part of the supporting cast. Its technical crew comprises of cameraman Alby Antony, composer Gopi Sunder and editor Mahesh Narayanan, who turned a director last year with the widely acclaimed ‘Take Off’. Joby George is producing the movie under the banner of Goodwill Entertainment.
