Confirmed: Harbhajan Singh to star in Santhanam’s next

It seems like it’s the season of cricketers venturing to acting. After Sreesanth and Irfan Pathan, it’s the turn of Harbhajan Singh to star in an upcoming Tamil film. Bhajji, as he is fondly called by cricket lovers, will be playing an important role in Santhanam’s new film ‘Dikkiloona’.

After playing a couple of seasons for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Harbhajan Singh has become very popular with the Tamil masses. Some of his tweets written in Tamil language have hugely viral. The makers of ‘Dikkiloona’ will certainly be trying to make use of his popularity.

Karthi Yogi will be directing the film and it is being produced by KJR Studios. Santhanam is playing a triple role in the film, which is a first in his career. The makers have signed Yuvan Shankar Raja to compose music. More details regarding the other cast and crew members are yet to be revealed. The makers are planning to release the film in April 2020.
