Confirmed: Mamangam teaser to be released tomorrow!

It seems like the hugely hyped Mammootty starrer ‘Mamangam’ is finally getting ready for release. The makers have announced that the teaser will be out tomorrow (September 28) at 10 AM. Fans as well as cinephiles have been eagerly waiting for the teaser. Earlier, a graphic teaser was released that had received great reception in social medias.

‘Mamangam’ directed by M Padmakumar promises to be an action packed historical flick. As per the makers, it is a historic film with almost 80% of it being inspired from real events. Its original director Sajeev Pillai penned the script after an extensive research of over twelve years. Shankar Ramakrishnan later adapted the screenplay. The film is based on the religious festival, Mamangam, that took place every twelve years in a place called Thirunavaya, on the banks of the Bharathapuzha, for over 280 years.

Along with Mammootty, ‘Mamangam’ also has Unni Mukundan in a prominent role. Others in the cast include Kaniha, Anu Sithara, Prachi Tehlan, Siddique, Sudev Nair, Tarun Arora, Suresh Krishna, Mani Kuttan, Manikandan, Ineya and Sudheer Sukumaran. Venu Kunnappilly of Kavya Films is producing this big budget film.
