Cricketer Irfan Pathan to act in Anil Radhakrishnan Menon’s next?

Director Anil Radhakrishnan Menon is currently busy with the post-production works of his upcoming release Diwanjimoola Grand Prix. Just like his earlier films, the director has come up with an interesting combination of actors for and this one and it looks very promising. The director is known for coming up with new concepts and naturally his next film also has a fair share of expectations among the audience.

The director shared a photo of him with former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan today on his offical social media handle. He has hinted about a possible collaboration as he has captioned it as, “More to come in this space….”

Irfan Pathan was one of the most successful all rounders in Indian cricket’s history. He was recently in Kerala for a promotional event. The photo taken with Anil Radhakrishnan Menon is doing the rounds in social medias. Speculations are rife about the duo teaming up for a new film. If it happens, Irfan will be joining the bandwagon of actors who made it to the film industry from the cricket field. Let’s wait for an official confirmation from the makers side.

The director’s Diwanjimoola Grand Prix is said to be a fun adventure film and a social satire set in Thrissur. It is scripted jointly by him and former Kozhikode collector Prashanth Nair. Besides Kunchacko Boban, then movie also stars Nyla Usha, Nedumudi Venu, Vinayakan, Siddique, Rajeev Pillai, Ashokan, Rajeev Pillai and many others. It is his fourth film after the widely acclaimed North 24 Kaatham, Sapthamashree Thaskaraha and Lord Livingston 7000 kandi.
