Dance choreographer Jani’s birthday celebrated on the sets of Beast

Shoot for Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Beast’ has resumed in Chennai. The team is currently filming a dance sequence featuring the lead pair, Vijay and Pooja Hegde. A huge set of a shopping mall has been erected in Chennai, where the shoot is taking place. Jani Master is choreographing all the songs in the film. Last day, the makers celebrated his birthday on sets. Vijay, director Nelson and other crew members were present for the cake cutting.

Jani Master predominantly works in Telugu cinema. He choreographs in a wide range of dancing styles, but he is mostly known for his western and folk style dancing. Some of his most popular works include ‘Butta Bomma’ (Ala Vaikunthapurramloo), ‘Chill Bro’ (Pattas) and ‘Dhinchak’ (Red). ‘Beast’ is his first outing with Vijay; so a lot of freshness is expected from this new combo.

‘Beast’ is shaping up as a big-scale action entertainer. Vijay reportedly plays the role of a con-agent in it. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and Manoj Paramahamsa handles the camera.
