My daughter is busy with her studies: Gautami

Earlier there were reports about popular yesteryear actress Gautami’s daughter Subbalakshmi entering the film industry.

It was reported that Gautami was in talks with many prominent filmmakers and actors about her daughter’s debut project in the tinsel world. Some websites even reported that Subbalakshmi will make her debut opposite Dhanush in Vellai Illa Pattadhari 2 directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth which is set to go on floors by next month.

But now Gautami has put to an end to the rumours about her daughter’s entry to acting. She has made it clear that Subbalakshmi is busy with her studies currently. Only after completing it, will she decide whether to pursue her career in acting or not.

The actress added that she generally does not care to clarify or respond to such baselss rumours, but felt the need to respond to this one because it was regarding her daughter’s career. She was wary of these rumours affecting her daughter’s studies.

Gautami was recently in the news after her separation with actor Kamal Haasan. The two were in a relationship for over 13 years.
