Dhanush-Karthik Subbaraj film titled Jagame Thanthiram; Check out the motion poster!

The title of Dhanush’s next with Karthik Subbaraj, which was so far called as D40, has just been unveiled. The film has been titled as ‘Jagame Thanthiram’ and the makers shared it along with a brilliantly designed motion poster. As informed earlier, the film is a gangster thriller and the motion poster clearly underlines that.

Malayali actress Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sachana Natarajan of ‘Game Over’ play the female leads. Joju George is also making his Tamil debut with this film and he is also featured in the motion poster.

Dhanush will be appearing in two different looks in the film, one as a Madurai based gangster and the other, set in London. Aishwarya and Joju shot for their portions in UK.
Hollywood actor James Cosmo, who has acted films like ‘Braveheart’, ‘Troy’, ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion’ and the popular TV series ‘Game of Thrones’, is essaying a crucial role in the film.

On the technical front, Santhosh Narayanan is the composer, Shreyaas Krishna, the DOP and Vivek Harshan handles the edits. S Sashikanth of Y Not Studios is producing the film. Trident Arts have bagged the Tamil Nadu distribution rights of the film while the Kerala rights is bagged by Anto Joseph Film Company. It is scheduled to hit screens worldwide on May 1.
