Dhanush and Nagarjuna to team up for a bilingual movie!

We had recently reported about Dhanush joining hands with Sri Thenandal Films for his second directorial. Dhansuh will be directing and playing the lead in this upcoming movie, which is said to be a romantic drama set in the pre-independence era.

Latest buzz is that Telugu superstar Nagarjuna might be playing a major role in the movie. The makers are planning the movie as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu languages. It is being planned on a big scale and it will be really massive if Nagarjuna comes on board. An official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited.

Dhanush is well known for his acting skills. Apart from being a highly talented actor, he has tried his hand at various other departments like playback singing, lyric writing, production and screenwriting. His debut film as a director Power Pandi aka Pa Pandi was a feel-good romantic tale of a middle aged pair. The movie found critical acclaim and was also a successful affair at the box office.

After the success of Power Pandi, the audience will surely be expecting another quality film from Dhanush. More details regarding the title and crew members of his next directorial is known yet known.

Dhanush is currently shooting for Maari 2, the sequel of his 2015 film Maari. Balaji Mohan, who helmed the first part, is directing the sequel as well. Tovino Thomas, Sai Pallavi, Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar and Kreshna are also part of the supporting cast. Dhanush also has and Vetrimaran’s gangster trilogy Vada Chennai in the pipeline.
