Dhanush-Rajisha Vijayan starrer Karnan wrapped up

Shoot for Dhanush’s ‘Karnan’ has been wrapped up. The star informed the same through his social media handle along with his sharing a photo taken with director Mari Selvaraj.

Dhanush has tweeted,

‘Karnan’ is a rural drama that is partly inspired from real life incidents. Just like Mari Selvaraj’s widely acclaimed debut film ‘Pariyerum Perumal’, this one is also expected to make a big impact among critics and the general masses. Malayali actress Rajisha Vijayan is making her Tamil debut with this film. The actress underwent a remarkable transformation for the film by shedding a few kilos to look like a typical village belle.

Along with Dhanush and Rajisha, the cast of ‘Karnan’ also includes Lal, Lakshmipriya Chandramouli, Azhagar Perumal, Natty aka Natarajan Subramanian, ’96’ fame Gouri Kishan and Yogi Babu. Cinematographer Theni Eswar and composer Santhosh Narayanan are part of the technical crew. Kollywood’s veteran producer Kalipuli S Thanu is producing the film under the banner of V Creations.
