Dhanush resumes shooting for his new Hindi film Atangi Re

As reported earlier, Dhanush is reuniting with ‘Raanjhanaa’ director Aanand L Rai for a new Hindi film titled ‘Atrangi Re’. It is a multi-starrer that also features Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. The film’s shoot had been affected for the past few months due to the pandemic. Now the makers have managed to resume works. Dhanush is currently shooting a few portions in Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu. This brief schedule involves song sequence also featuring Dimple Hayathi. Following this, the team will continue shooting in Delhi and Mumbai where Akshay Kumar will be joining for a month.

‘Atrangi Re’ is scripted by National award winner Himanshu Sharma. All the three lead actors will have equal prominence in the film with Akshay playing a more challenging character in the film. AR Rahman is composing music for the film. T Series, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films will be presenting the film.
