Dhanush’s Directorial ‘Idly Kadai’ Rescheduled for October 1st Release

Dhanush fans will have to wait a little longer for his much-anticipated directorial venture ‘Idly Kadai’, as the film’s release date has been postponed to October 1st, 2025. Initially slated for an April release, the decision to reschedule aims to ensure a polished final product that lives up to Dhanush’s creative standards. This marks Dhanush’s fourth directorial venture after his critically acclaimed films like Pa Paandi and Raayan, and Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam.

The film stars Dhanush himself in a dual role as both director and lead actor, bringing his distinctive vision to the screen once again. Accompanying him is the talented Nithya Menen, who plays the female lead, promising a captivating on-screen chemistry. The soundtrack, composed by GV Prakash Kumar, is expected to enrich the emotional narrative, adding depth to Dhanush’s storytelling.

Produced jointly by Dawn Pictures, Red Giant Movies, and Wunderbar Films, with Aakash Baskaran and Dhanush as producers, ‘Idly Kadai’ boasts a stellar technical team.
