Dhanush’s first look from Thiruchitrambalam out

Dhanush’s new film ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ with director Mithran Jawahar is gearing up for release. The makers recently introduced the main characters from the film. While Dhanush plays the titular role, the film has Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashi Khanna as the female leads. Nithya Menen essays a character named Shobana. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays a village belle named Ranjani and Raashi Khanna’s character is Anusha. Interestingly, all of them are acting with Dhanush for the first time. Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja will also be seen in prominent roles in the film.

‘Thiruchitrambalam’ promises to a wholesome entertainer. Director Mithran Jawahar has earlier helmed films like ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’, ‘Kutty’, ‘Uthamaputhiran’ and ‘Meendum Oru Kadhal Kadhai’. Though all his previous films have been remakes, ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ is said to be an original work.

Dhanush and music director Anirudh Ravichander are reuniting after a 6-year-long gap with ‘Thiruchitrambalam’. Expectations are huge as the blockbuster combo gets back together. The film has Om Prakash as the cinematographer and Prasanna GK as the editor. It is produced by Sun Pictures.
