Dhruv Vikram to team up with Pariyerum Perumal director Maari Selvaraj for a sports flick!

Dhruv Vikram made an impressive debut with ‘Adithya Varma’, the remake of blockbuster Telugu film ‘Arjun Reddy’. Though the Tamil version didn’t click at the box office, Dhruv’s performance in it earned appreciation from many. The youngster will be next seen sharing screen space with his father Vikram. Karthik Subbaraj is directing the film, which is said to be a gangster drama.

Meanwhile, reports have also emerged that Dhruv will be starring in a new sports film to be helmed by Maari Selvaraj. In a recent interview, director Pa Ranjith had confirmed that he is producing a sports film to be directed by Maari Selvaraj and a promising young actor will play the lead role in it. Speculations are rife that it is Dhruv who has given his nod for the film.

Maari Selvaraj’s debut film ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ was a big success, both critically and commercially, and it made him a director to watch out for. He is currently working on his second film ‘Karnan’ that has Dhanush in the lead. After its completion, he is expected to start works on the aforementioned sports flick.
