Dhruv Vikram’s Varma to hit screens on Valentine’s Day

As we already know, Vikram’s son Dhruv is making his acting debut with the remake of the 2017 Telugu blockbuster, ‘Arjun Reddy’. The Tamil version titled ‘Varma’ has debutante Megha Chowdhury playing the female lead. National Award winner Bala is directing the movie. As per latest reports, the makers are planning to release the movie on Valentine’s Day, but an official word is still awaited.

‘Arjun Reddy’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga had Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles. It is the story of an impulsive medical surgeon who falls madly in love with his college junior. He becomes alcoholic post break-up and the rest of the story is about how he redeems himself. Vijay Deverakonda’s stellar performance was widely talked about.

When the movie gets a Tamil version, there is a huge challenge ahead of Dhruv as comparisons are bound to be made with Deverakonda. Director Bala who is known his intense films is trying something different for the first time. The movie’s teaser had also got good reception in social medias.

‘Varma’ is the maiden Tamil production venture of Mollywood’s leading banner, E4 Entertainment.
