Dhuruvangal 16 to finally release in Kerala

One of the most talked about movie in recent times is Dhuruvangal 16, a whodunit thriller starring veteran actor Rahman in the lead role. The movie has got excellent response from the audience as well as the industry insiders. What amazed everyone was the incredibly mature work from the 22 year old director Karthick Naren.

Several celebrities like Gautham Menon, Vijay, Sivakarthikeyan, Rana Daggubati, AR Murugadoss, Vetrimaran, Simbu, Aravind Swamy and many others have heaped praise on the movie.

The movie recently crossed it’s 50 day theatrical run in Tamil Nadu. Unfortunately, Kerala auidence was deprived of a theaterical experience. Keralites started talking about the movie only after it’s release in the Torrents platform. Soon word of mouth spread like wild fire and the movie has been the topic of discussion in several social media groups.

Finally, the Kerala theatrical rights of the movie is bought by a production company Writer Imaginations, owned by Mahavishnu, a 22 year old youngster. He shared the happy news through a post in his official Facebook page.

“And yeah! Due to the overwhelmed response of#D16 Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru movie & it’s grand success with the audience in Tamil, there is a huge expectation in Kerala state to release the film there! Finally, under my production company “WRITER IMAGINATIONS” I’ve signed & acquired the complete Kerala rights of #DhuruvangalPathinaaru film
Dear kerala people, juz wait for some more days.. Your long awaited venture is just on the way”

Director Karthick Naren also shared the news with his followers through a Facebook post.

“Kerala rights of #D16 has been sold to Mahavishnu Krishnamoorthy. A fellow 22yr old who is stepping into the film fraternity through his maiden production house ‘Writer’s imagination’. Received lot of offers from big banners but being a youngster its not fair to reject the dream of another. Money does count but not at the cost of your moral satisfaction. Hope this breaks the age stereotypes“
