Dileep backs out, Sreejith Vijay will be Sathya Sai Baba

There were reports regarding a Telugu movie based on the life of Sathya Sai Baba. Malayalam actor Dileep was initially roped in for the role. But now latest developments confirm that Dileep has backed out from the project.

Sreejith Vijay, another Malayalam actor will be replacing Dileep to play the role of Sathya Sai Baba. Sreejith Vijay has earlier acted in movies like Rathinirvedam, Living together and Mad Dad. He has also anchored a popular dance reality show.

The project was initially on with Dileep but apparently the actor could not allocate large dates for the movie. Shooting for the movie was planned for a bulk 150 days which the busy actor could not afford.

Meanwhile, Sreejith Vijay is excited about being part of such a big project. The actor believes that this is a big break for him and will boost his career positively.

The movie will be focussing on the life of the spiritual guru from a 25 year old to an 80 year old. This big budget movie will be primarily shot in Puttaparuthi, Himalayas and Kashmir.

Tollywood’s popular filmmaker Kodi Ramakrishna will direct this big budget movie. The movie also stars Sarath Babu and Jayaprabha in other important roles.
