Dileep’s next titled as ‘Parakkum Pappan’

Today, on the day of Christmas, Dileep took to his social media handle to announce his new film. Titled as ‘Parakkum Pappan’, the film will be directed by debutant Viyan Vishnu. The title poster was shared in the actor’s official Facebook handle. The title, tagline and poster hints at a local superhero flick, but we will have to wait and see if it’s just a fun title. The movie will be produced jointly by Dileep’s Graand Productions and Carnival Motion Pictures. More details are expected to be revealed shortly.

Dileep currently has around five projects in his kitty. His next release will be B Unnikrishnan’s ‘Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakkeel’, in which he plays the role of an advocate. The movie which also stars Mamta Mohandas and Priya Anand is scheduled to hit screens in February. Bollywood production giant Viacom 18 Motion Pictures is making their entry to Malayalam film industry with this movie.

Dileep has also completed major portions of his ambitious 3D film ‘Professor Dinkan’. Ramachandra Babu is directing the movie and is scripted by Rafi. The latter is scripting another movie for Dileep titled ‘Pickpocket’. P Balachandra Kumar will be directing this big budget film, which will be shot extensively in Brazil.

Dileep is also set to reunite with his ‘Speed Track’ director Jayasurya for a new movie titled ‘Jack Daniel’.
Along with Dileep, the movie will also have veteran Tamil actor Arjun in a major role. It is said to be a big budget action-flick and will be produced by Shibu Thameens of Thameens Films.

Apart from the aforementioned projects, Dileep has signed for a new film with ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ fame G Prajith. The actor is also said to be in talks for new projects with Arun Gopy and Nadrishah. A sequel to his 2015 blockbuster film, ‘Two Countries’ is also on the cards.
