Dileesh Pothan and Fahadh Faasil team up once for Shane Nigam’s Kumbalangi Nights!

After delivering the highly acclaimed Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Dileesh Pothan has been busy with his acting commitments. He has now become an indispensable part in the industry having established himself as a solid supporting actor. Meanwhile, reports were doing the rounds about him directing Shane Nigam in a movie titled Kumbalangi Nights.

However, Dileesh Pothan has now confirmed that the movie is definitely on but he will not be directing it. Kumbalangi Nights will mark the debut of Madhu C Narayanan, an associate of Dileesh and Aashiq Abu. National award winner Syam Pushkaran is scripting this movie.

Another interesting thing about this movie is that the Maheshinte Prathikaram trio of Syam, Dileesh Pothan and Fahadh Faasil are coming together to produce it. More details regarding the genre or other cast and crew members is not yet known.

Shane Nigam is one of the most promising actors in Mollywood currently. He became an audience favorite after his terrific performances in films like Kismath, C/o Saira Banu and the more recent Parava. Riding on the success of these films, he has been signed for several new projects. Editor Ajithkumar’s directorial debut Eeda, Shaji N Karun’s Oolu, Devan’s Painkili and debutant Dimel’s Perunnal are some of his upcoming movies.
