The romantic drama starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha has become a sensational hit and is loved unanimously. Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik recently watched the movie and was blown away by it. Directed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Prem Kumar, 96 is a poignant tale of how two childhood sweethearts meet after two decades for a school reunion. The movie has been getting unanimous appreciation from all corners ever since its release on October 4. Both critics and commoners have rated it as one of the finest romantic flicks that have come out of Tamil cinema in recent years. Besides Tamil Nadu, the movie emerged hugely successful in Kerala as well. It is one of the most profitable movies in the state this year.
